RISE is designed to avoid hindering your movement, thanks to its strategic placement and the flexible, soft materials used in its construction. This buoyancy aid can be activated in an emergency without restricting your movement, providing more physical and mental freedom.
RISE is equipped with a CO2 cartridge activated by pulling a handle near the neck. This easy activation inflates the buoyancy aid within few seconds. Alternatively, you can use the mouth inflation piece to blow it up manually.
Using the CO2 cartridge, RISE inflates in seconds, and you’ll feel the buoyancy almost immediately. Pretty cool, right?
After inflation and once you’re safe, deflate RISE through the valve in the mouth inflation piece. Fully deflate it, then repack the inflatable lungs as shown in the printed guide. If the CO2 cartridge has been used, replace it, and RISE is ready for another adventure.
RISE is currently undergoing testing based on EN ISO 12402-6 as a 50N buoyancy aid. This certification makes RISE suitable as legally required safety equipment in certain European countries.
